Learning platform for Bricoman
Training platform for customers and employees of the Bricoman store network. Users can log in with their LDAP account and take courses and tests on the platform, as well as sign up for courses organized by Bricoman stores.
The platform allows Bricoman employees to log in using the internal OpenID system. Depending on their role within the system, employees can either organize training sessions or participate in them. They have access to an advanced training calendar, review of company documents, and mandatory SCORM tests (e.g., Health and Safety), the results of which are recorded and used to generate rankings between stores.
Bricoman customers can log in to the platform using their Magento store account and participate in training sessions organized by Bricoman or its suppliers. The training calendar helps in scheduling sessions and reminds users of upcoming training events. After completing a training session, participants can provide feedback on the platform.
The process of creating the Akadomia portal began with gathering business requirements from the Bricoman partner. Next, a detailed matrix of user permissions was developed.
Following this stage, the user interface (UI/UX) was designed through the creation of prototypes. The next step involved implementing the entire platform using the Symfony framework. Throughout the process, continuous communication with the client and adaptation to any changes were crucial. Ultimately, after conducting tests and iterations, the portal was deployed and made available to users.
The platform allows for the entire training process, starting from its creation and scheduling to verifying the participation of individuals. Additionally, participants can track their learning progress and complete internal SCORM tests.
